ProteinPrice.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Other affiliate programs
In addition to Amazon, we participate in affiliate programs operated by US supplement retailers and affiliate networks. These may include programs run through ShareASale, Impact, CJ Affiliate, and direct retailer programs at supplement-focused stores. The specific programs active at any time may change. This page is updated when those relationships change.
Not every link on the site is an affiliate link. Some retailers we track do not run affiliate programs. We show their prices anyway because our job is to find you the best value, whether we earn anything from that click or not.
What this means for you
- Your price does not change. The price at checkout is identical whether you come from our link or go directly to the retailer. Commissions are paid from the retailer's marketing budget, not added to your purchase.
- We never see your payment or personal information. All purchases happen on the retailer's site. We have no access to your order, your payment details, or your shipping address.
- You can always go direct. If you prefer not to use an affiliate link, search the product name and retailer directly. You will find the same price and our rankings will not change.
How affiliate income affects rankings
It does not. Rankings on ProteinPrice.com are based entirely on Value Score, which is grams of protein per dollar, calculated automatically from live price data. Commission rates are not an input to that formula.
A product at a retailer that pays us nothing can rank above one that pays a higher commission rate. That happens regularly. If a product is the best value by the math, it ranks first regardless of whether we make money from the click.
We do not accept payment for editorial placement, ranking boosts, or sponsored positions in our organic results. If we ever add clearly labeled sponsored placements, they will be visually separate from organic rankings and labeled on every appearance.
Independence
ProteinPrice.com is not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any protein brand or supplement manufacturer. No brand has an equity stake, an editorial veto, or any contractual right to influence our rankings. Our independence is what makes the data useful.
