1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ProteinPrice.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and ProteinPrice.com (the "Service," "we," "us," or "our").

If you are using the Site on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Use of the Site

ProteinPrice.com is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You may browse, read, share, and link to our pages freely. You may quote short excerpts in your own writing with attribution and a link back to the source page.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically harvest pricing or product data from the Site at high volume or in a way that places undue load on our infrastructure. If you want bulk data, use our public JSON feeds at /data/: that is what they are for.
• Republish substantial portions of the Site's editorial content without prior written permission.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to overload our servers or interfere with normal operation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, or otherwise compromise the security of the Site.
• Frame, mirror, or wholesale clone the Site's pages in a way that misrepresents the source.
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

3. Accuracy of prices and product information

Our pricing comes from automated scrapes of retailer product pages and from retailer search APIs. Errors can occur: retailers occasionally post incorrect prices, sales end mid-day, trackers miss edge cases, currency-conversion glitches happen, and bundle SKUs can be misidentified as single units. We apply multiple safeguards (sanity ranges, swing-rejection, outlier detection, stale-data flagging) but no automated system is perfect.

The retailer's checkout is always the source of truth. ProteinPrice.com is not responsible for purchasing decisions you make based on data that turns out to be stale, mistaken, or out of stock.

4. Affiliate links and commissions

Many of the outbound "View Deal," "Buy Now," or retailer links on the Site are affiliate links. When you click one and complete a purchase at the destination retailer, ProteinPrice.com may earn a commission from that retailer at no additional cost to you.

This commission:

• Does not change the price you pay. Your cost at checkout is identical whether you arrived from ProteinPrice.com, from Google, or by typing the retailer's URL directly.
• Does not influence rankings. Products are ordered by Value Score, calculated automatically from price and nutrition data. We do not promote products based on commission rate.
• Does not require disclosure to the retailer of any personal data. Standard affiliate-network parameters are passed in the URL; we do not pass your name, email, or any identifier we hold.

5. Not nutritional, medical, or fitness advice

Content on ProteinPrice.com, including buying guides, calculators, comparisons, glossary entries, recipes, and editorial articles, is provided for informational purposes only. It is not medical, nutritional, or fitness advice, and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.

Before making significant changes to your diet, supplement routine, or training program, consult a qualified healthcare professional, registered dietitian, or licensed trainer. Do not rely on information from this Site to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

6. Intellectual property

All original content on the Site, including text, design, layout, code, the Value Score methodology, editorial writing, comparison tables, charts, and original imagery, is owned by ProteinPrice.com (or licensed to us) and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may:

• Quote short excerpts (typically a sentence or two) with clear attribution and a link back to the source page.
• Link to any public page on the Site without prior permission.
• Use small reproductions of our data tables in news reporting or academic work with attribution to ProteinPrice.com.

Product names, brand names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Use of those marks on this Site is for identification and comparison purposes only and does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership unless we explicitly say so.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or non-infringement. We make no guarantees that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProteinPrice.com, its operators, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of the Site, including but not limited to financial losses from purchasing decisions based on data shown on the Site, loss of profits, loss of data, or any other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Third-party links and services

The Site links to retailers, brands, affiliate networks, and other third parties. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, products, services, privacy practices, or policies. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged on the Site for a reasonable period. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the Site.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, except where local consumer-protection laws give you stronger rights that cannot be waived by contract.

You and ProteinPrice.com agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and ProteinPrice.com regarding your use of the Site.
